Hayward T cell 940

I have a Hayward prologic and a T cell 940 approximately 4 to 4 1/2 years old. My system is reading 0000 ppm on salt and chlorinator off due to low salt. Obviously no current draw since chlorinator is off due to no salt reading. I think I have a bad salt cell but wanted some help before spending $900. Thanks

How many gallons in your pool?

Some Pool Stores have Hayward cell testers and can test your cell.

It’s approximately 20,000 gallons. I called a couple local stores but they couldn’t test it. I can call a few more companies.

Your cell has a 4 year warranty. Make a warranty claim with Hayward and see what they do. Worth a try.
