Hayward Super Pump SP2670020VSP

Hello,

New here but not new to owning a pool. My 20' x 40' inground is 10 years old and the single speed pump just went. I would like to upgrade to a variable speed and am looking at the Hayward Super Pump 700 VS 230/115v. The item number on Hayward's website is SP2670020VSP.

My single speed is a Hayward Super Pump with 115/230 volt. I am not sure what it is: 115 or 230. That is why I am looking for this particular VS model.

Does anyone have any experience with this model?

You need to figure out what the supply voltage is in any case.

Do you have a picture of the circuit breaker that goes to the pump?

Do you have automation?

Pump isn't automated.

The circuit breaker is a double (not sure if correct term) that says 110/240

A double usually means 240 volts. You can check the wiring at the pump to see what it is. You can measure the voltage if you feel comfortable doing that.

In any case, the dual voltage pump should work for you.

Note that the pump will not perform the same at high speed at 115 volts as it would at 230 volts.
