Hi,
I have a Hayward T-CELL-3 connected to a Hayward Omnilogic controller. Over the weekend, I started getting a low salt reading (900ppm) and these messages:
Chlor Relay K2 Stuck Open Chlorinator1
Chlor Relay K1 Stuck Open Chlorinator1
T-Cell Current Sensor Short Chlorinator1
The cell is right at 3 years old, I have cleaned it regularly, including this past weekend but I'm still getting these errors on the Omnilogic. If I test the salt level with a Taylor salt kit, it's 4000ppm, so I know it isn't low on salt. I'm not sure if it's normal, but this cell has always read lower than the Taylor kit. When I keep the salt at 4000ppm per the test kit, the cell has always shown around 3000ppm.
I have power cycled the Omnilogic & Cell, but the errors come back pretty quickly.
Is the cell just dead and needs to be replaced or is there something else I should try? What is the normal life expectancy from these cells?
Thanks,
David
