I have a 2HP Hayward Tristar 2 speed with a Centrury SP3220Z2BE motor, on a 20k inground, and a 3 HP single speed on my waterfall. Both of which have just failed. They both trip the breakers without starting.
They are from an estimated 2014 install by the previous owner. I have a Hayward Pro Logic PS-8 control board.
Question 1: What VS pump would be compatible/recommended for the pool/spa that I can still use the remote with?
Question 2: Should I still go with a 3HP for the waterfall and can I use a VS or 2 speed for it? Currently the only way to reduce waterflow is to use valves to restrict flow.
