Hayward Pro-Logic Problem

I have a ProLogic pl-ps-8. It has a keypad on the unit and a hardwired keypad about 30’ away. It runs fine until the two speed pump is timed to come on. It will run for a random amount of time and the keypad will read “comm error #2” and the keypad will reboot. Everything comes back on including pump. This cycling will continue until I cut power. I’ve replaced the transformer after following a diagnostic video on u-boob with no joy. Any ideas would be appreciated since the next “throw money at the problem “ attempt will be the main circuit board. I’ve taken both keypads out of the equation and still this cycling. Thanks for any thoughts!! Old guy with little forum experience so excuse my omission of anything.

Unplug green terminal block that contains all the sensors then turn the breaker back on (with the block still removed).

If the communication error disappears, then check everything wired into the sensor terminal block.

Thanks for the info JamesW. I did unplug the terminal blocks on the left of the board and turned System back on. Got the usual messages about temp sense, etc. not being there and everything worked fine for about 10 minutes and then I could see the primary display flicker( as well as the secondary hard mount in the house) a bit as if voltage to the display was wonky then everything shuts off...couple of seconds...back on. Main board issue?

Hello.. I am replacing my Ecostar with Tristar 2.7 VSP... I have a question about the 2 DATA wires that were attached to COMBUS 7 and 8 on the ECOSTAR which run from the PROLOGIC panel. Where do they attach on the TRISTAR? Thanks for any help. Steve

Thanks again for the link James. Read thru the guide and found nothing of consequence. I did however disconnect the antenna and all is working fine. Can't tell you why that solved my problem but I'm not questioning it. The batteries had died on the remote a year ago so not using it anymore anyway. Is the wireless option able to be "turned off" at the controller? It seems to me just unplugging the antenna wouldn't do it.
