Hello. My light bracket broke on the light fixture. I plan on making two stainless steel plates plus an expanded Teflon ring on each side of the clear plastic ring. I am also going to make a
1-1/2” - 2” thick spacer to fit on the back of the stainless steel plate and install the light back in the housing with some pool light wedges. There is a small amount of water in the light. I have had it replaced already but it’s out of warranty. What is a good marine grade coating I can put all over the back or seams of the light to help waterproof the housing from further damage?
Any other ideas on another type of LED lighting fixture I can use in the future since the lights are not that good?

All good this is is still a work in process. I will update my information when my project is completed. Making a bracket to hold this light has been more challenging than anticipated. Imagine that?
