I was given a used hayward LED light but I wanted to test it out first since it was a demo model for a store. As soon as I put it in a bucket of water I saw some air bubbles and upon inspection the epoxy that covered this small weep hole on the back was compromised. The light has been sitting out in the sun for 2 weeks and I suppose there's just not enough air getting in there to dry this out. I tried an air compressor but nothing is working. My reading reveals this light is not meant to be open even though it looks like it could be twisted open from the back. It definitely has some type of sealant on it. Either way I'd like to dry it out and seal up the hole to see if it's usable. Any ideas?
