Hayward heater not responding to Omnilogic Control Panel or Omnilogic phone app after replacing display board

See page 29 which is what I posted in post #4.

It is in the same junction box the AC power is connected.

You should be able to follow the wires to the box.

Ok, so the Remote Control Connection on page 29 is located somewhere in the heater, correct? Do you see it depicted somewhere on the diagram in the manual pg 61? I looked previously and didn't find it, but I'll look again after work today. All the wires between the heater and the Omnilogic hub are in conduit and are a little hard to trace since several conduits are bundled and tied together. I'll try harder to trace now that I know better what to look for. Thanks.

Good news! The problem seems to be solved, although I'm not sure what fixed it. I did three things, but don't know what fixed the issue. 1. I traced the wire you specified and found where it enters into the heater. I found the Remote Control Connection inside a panel on the side of the heater, but the wire coming from the Omnilogic hub did not terminate there. Each of the two wires in that cable were spliced with two more wires that went to the control board and connected to it with a connector. The wires in the Remote Control Connection area were twisted together and capped with a wire nut. I took the wire nut off on both wires and made sure all the wires were connected properly and put the wire nuts back on. 2. I unplugged and plugged back in the connector that plugs into the control board. 3. I manually set the heater set temperature to the highest setting (104 degrees). I had read in another thread that whatever you have this set for is the highest temp the omnilogic app can set it for.
I don't know what fixed the issue but it is working now. Thank you again for all your help!!
FYI, it's working with the non OEM board. I had put it back in after trying a Hayward board which didn't fix the issue.
