Hi. I have a Hayward 400k btu heater that is 4 years old. We’ve used it fine for our pool and spa since we got it. Since Saturday, it won’t run. I can hear it start it’s cycle, the gas starts and it ignites, and then within 2 or 3 seconds it goes out. It does this cycle a number of times before it gives up and shows the “IF” error code (ignition failure). I believe I’ve needed to upgrade my gas meter all along, but it has always run fine. Any thoughts on what I can do before calling the pool company? Thanks.
