Hi folks. I have a 16 year old Hayward H25 Natural gas heater and when I tried to switch it on after winter shot down I have no LCD display or LED illumination on control panel.
Checked power and getting voltage to transformer.
Too circuit board out to take a look for defective or burnt out components and noticed some bubbling of one of the chips..
I'm not keen on spending money on various new components only to find out that it doesn't fix the issue... also don't want to spend $5k on an new heater either lol..
Can any of you advise if the bubbling on the chip would indicate a failure resulting in no power/LEDs on display?
Many thanks
