Last night I turned on filter and pump at about 9:30 PM in order to have pool heated by morning but this morning I checked and heater was off. No error on display still in “bo”

I turned it on as soon as I saw it was off and it’s still running so the only thing I can possibly think of is late last night air temps dipped below 38f and caused freeze protect to kick on possibly turning heater off. I saw someone post about an OmniLogic they are confident turns heater off during freeze protect mode. I have a ProLogic. Any ideas? I plan on conducting a test later to force air temp low to kick on freeze protect to see if it shuts the heater off.

All of the Hayward *Logic systems likely have the same freeze protect behavior and code.

I have never seen Hayward be forthcoming on how their freeze protection logic works. It seems to be up to the customer to observe and guess.
