Hayward fitting size

Posting here before I begin my google search. I accidentally kicked and broke the small plastic fitting at the base of the pump. Hose connects to the top of the filter housing. Is this a piece I can get from Lowes/Tractor Supply, or dare I say Leslies?

The drain plug? Or the inlet (front of the pump) or outlet up & to the filter connection?

You don't need that hose, just get a plug.

Its next to the drain; now its broken and acting like a drain

So I dont need this 'pressure relief hose'? If I can get the correct fitting, it will be easier to replace that. Otherwise I'll have to plug the other end (tee'd into the pressure gauge fitting)

I would just remove the hose and install plugs.

It should be 1/4" NPT.

The part probably has a part number on it if you want the part.

The drain plug next to it does fit, SP4000P.

Wow, found one those in my brass bin, and some 1/4 NPT plugs. The o-ring squishes out, I will need a big washer, and the hose is a b!tch to get on past the tip.
I'm gonna see if I can locate the correct union before plugging both ends.

After looking closer at my 2 blue hoses, I realized this one went to the ozonator I unplugged years ago.

Is your pump lid on backwards?

Does it matter which way it goes on? I never noticed FRONT, I guess that would be pump inlet?
I usually put ithe cover on 'backwards' which puts the handle near the pump outlet, so I can place my foot near the pump base (99.9% of the time avoiding the ozonator fitting) as I step over the pipework to get to the controller. The controller is in a real bad location.
