Hayward filter clamp corroding

Anyone have thoughts on my filter clamp corroding? I replaced the original clamp which appeared more durable with this one hoping it will last a very long time. The clamp is only 7years old. Thanks for all your inputs.

Is it working well but looks ugly......or does it not fit tight anymore? Do you have a leak down the side which is bleaching it up?

If its still working fine a little spray paint would pretty it up.

Yeah I think I will sand it down a bit and hit it with some spray paint. It is working good but was wondering if other people were have the same results.

My jandy clamp looks same if not worse. Not visible from the pool area so all good.

At $300+ to replace, sand and paint is a great option.
