Hey guys of course pumps always fail when we least need them. Its in the 100's this week in Nor Cal and I came home to notice my Hayward ecostar said pump drive error. Any ideas on how to fix this? I have turned off breaker and waited 10 minutes with no success. Thanks.

No, I am now just shy of 4 year mark. I am a little upset for the cost of these pumps to only last 4 years, and now I’m torn on weather to replace or go alternate vendor. I have heard mixed bag on the pentair also.

If I can’t get this resolved, what would you all advise for replacement. But a new controller? Or buy jandy, pentair or jacuzzi. I have a commercial account at SCP and Leslie’s.
Poollife, did you PM "Hayward Pool", Did you hear back? Seems like this is a major manufacturing defect. I bought two of these pumps and was offered a small discount for one of my pumps that was out of warranty. Still haven't decided on what I am going to do. But was curious if you got any resolution.
