Hayward Ecostar 3400SVP Problem

Only one way to find out....chances are if it spun freely it's a drive issue but worth a try

Ok so everything is back together and back on, but same error about the wet end. However now my prologic says to press + to reset pump with the pump locked up its not allowing me to do anything

Ok so I am just going to get a new pump, which one would you suggest? I have a guy to install and he says that there is a way to make the Pentair Sta-Rite IntelliPro VSF to communicate with my Hayward Prologic, or Should I just get the Hayward Tristar 2.7hp?? The other 2 pumps i have are old super pumps

Any other pump will use 4 speeds off relay system amd that may be fine for your setup. I use Hayward mainly and the newer ecostars are good. Gotta make sure it's a recent build model. I use alot of tristar VS they are same thing basically as ecostar just no drive issues. They line right up to ecostar piping
