Long time since i have needed to post on TFP but looking for advice. Our pool light "dimmed" on us about 2 years ago. We were finally going to replace what we thought was a typical color bulb to only find out, it is a motherboard type light.
We called Hayward today and they will not provide us with any direction. Told us to call our local authorized pool company.
We want to replace the entire unit/niche with an actual bulb style so we are not at a pool company's beckon call to replace and charge top dollar. Like most of us, we do have an electrician friend willing to do the work, but have no idea what to order as a replacement
