Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement for this Hayward ColorLogic LED light? It's dang expensive and I'm not so sure that I care about having many color options for the pool water, as we are getting a liner that is a dark blue color. 20200720_140629.jpg

The old pentair amerilights are simple, cheap, and you can put a low cost bulb in them when they fail (or fancy led colored one for $100). There is another company replicating them Iirc. IMO, the lack of reliability, cost, and inability to perform simple repairs makes the old school the best way to go. I just rebuilt these for a friend and added led multicolor lights to each. Between new bulbs and gaskets, it was $100 each to go from not working to this. If you just want a normal white bulb in led, they are ~ $30. All bulbs are available in 12vt or 120vt models.18FA9ECF-3869-4A4F-9D69-419B02019AE1.jpeg

Awesome!

Hitting another snag. It seems that the pool contractor broke the screw off into the lights pilot hole and now I have no way of reattaching.

Outside of draining the water level low enough to get a screw extractor in there (which I'll probably do at some point), I'm thinking a simple angle bracket could work if it will fit under the lip on the inside...

any suggestions as to how I can attach the light?
