Hayward Colorlogic Lights Question

We have the Hayward Omnilogic with Colorlogic lights and we love them. I do have one question and am curious if others have the same experience. When I change the color from one color to the very next in the line of colors on my Omnilogic app, then the light flashes once to the new color. If I change to a color more than one away, the lights flash through every color until it gets to the color I selected.

For example if the colors are listed in order in the Omnilogic app as blue, greed, red, purple, white and I am on blue and change to green then the lights flash once to green. If I am on blue and change to white the lights flash through every color along the way creating a strobe like effect in my pool until it stops on white. It seems to me they should be able to go from one color to another with one flash regardless of how far apart the colors are in the app.

If you are using the Colorlogic lights I would love to know if yours operate the same way. Thank you in advance!

Your Hayward ColorLogic light is operated through power-cycling: a method of changing modes which requires no special controller or interface. To activate the light, simply turn on the switch. To deactivate the light, turn off the switch. To advance to the next program, turn the switch off, then back on within 10 seconds. Whenever the light has been off for over 60 seconds, and is first turned on, it will come on to white for 15 seconds for quick clear view of your pool, then go to the last fixed color or color show it was running.
