Hayward Colorlight replacement

Hello, found a few threads but all older. Both my Hayward colorlogic lights (pool and spa) are dead after 9 years. I’m finding replacements around $800 each and the repairman wants $1000 for parts and labor (actually not bad for the labor it seems) BUT I don’t have $2000 to drop right now!

I’m finding LED color changing pool bulbs very inexpensive online. Thinking it may make more sense to replace with something other than colorlogic.

Any advice, experience or how to’s GREATLY appreciated!

You can't put light bulbs in those lights.

You can look at putting in Hayward white incandescent Astrolites which will run around $400 each , about half the cost of the LED lights.

9 years on pool LED lights is a good run you got from them.
