Hayward c3030 pressure gauge showing 0

Recently opened my pool. There is a small leak at the connection from the pump to the return valves. Jets seem to have good pressure still. No air bubbles coming out of the jets, yet my pressure gauge still shows 0. This has been this way since I turned it all on. I even opened the manual relief valve cover and checked for obstruction, and there was nothing. Filters aren't even that dirty since turning it on. I tried a new gauge and got the same result. Not sure what the next steps are here, any ideas?

Edit: someone is coming to help me fix the connection at the pump, but could that be the reason the gauge is showing 0 pressure?

Pump is connected to the suction lines, not returns. Filter goes to the returns Sounds like no water flow, especially with a new gauge. Lube the lid O ring, be sure any unions in front of the pump are tight. Which valves? Which pump? A suction leak could be large enough to prevent the pump from pulling water, yes.
