Hayward AquaTrol RJ to HP circuit board change out

There are cases where the setting changed due to erratic inputs from the loose display board, so there is a way to change the setting.

Would a AQR board benefit a user with RJ AL-7 firmware? Any benefits for using AQR board in Aquatrol? Could it still use the analog clock auto pump mode?
The AQR bd supports T-cell 3, 5, 9, 15 and comms protocol for automation. You will lose the functionality of the in-house timer. You can sell it to recoup though. Home Depot has a 15A outdoor programmable digital timer like this. I'm using one for the past few years to power my AQR panel. The timer is limited to 120VAC operation and it will allow you to plug-in your pump and the AQR bd.
I can pm you the link for the least expensive pre-owned AQR r1.59 bd if interested.

Yes, I am pretty much aware of that issue. I am a solid AQR user, just wanting to help others. I have acquired various AQR and RJ boards and assorted programming devices for that reason, helping others!
And so far, the only way I know to resolve this issue is to re-program the EEPROM (93C46B). Reprogramming the EEPROM requires soldering skills because it cannot be done in circuit.
