Hayward Aquarite - No Power Light, But LED Is Lit

Hi,

My Aquarite stopped working some time in the last week. None of the lights are on, including power, but the LED is working. Any ideas? The manual says to check the power source, but I would think the LED would be off if it weren't getting power.

What are the diagnostic readings?

If the voltage is low, the thermistor is probably bad. It's on the main circuit board on the top right. 99% chance that it's the problem.

If you can solder, you can replace it

Yup, sounds like the thermistor that James linked to. It's a fairly common fault. There are several videos on YouTube about how to replace it.

Thanks guys. I turned it off and turned it back on this morning and the generator light came on for about 3 seconds, then went off. The no flow light came initially, which is normal.

The cell voltage was 13.6 and the current 0. I have a T-15.

I'll look into the thermistor.

Probably a bad thermistor.

You can replace it if you can solder or know someone who can.

You can replace the circuit board, but that's more expensive.
