Hayward Aqua Plus Pump not working

What model pump do you have?

Do you have a multimeter? Check the voltage between L1 and L2 feeding power to the pump.

It is a hayward max flo xl dual speed pump.
Model k48a89a04.

How would I find L1 and L2? Do I have to take the panel off?

You want to start by checking if you have power at the pump. If not then you move back and check power at the relays in the panel.

Pump manual is here --> https://hayward-pool-assets.com/assets/documents/pools/pdf/manuals/MaxfloXL-IS2300.pdf?fromCDN=true

See page 8 - you need to determine if your pump is 230V or 115V. Then check voltage between common wire and low or high speed wires.

You can start by removing the panel and checking the voltage at the breaker, then at the relay line terminals (first and third terminals) and then the relay load terminals (second and fourth).

Do you have a picture of the pump motor label?

If you don't feel comfortable dealing with it, contact the pump installer and ask them to check it out.
