Hii!! Please help! I’m having a hard time understanding what to do about water hardness. I have an above ground pool 26x14x4 ft oval. And it’s super cloudy right now.

Total hardness 500
I tested my tap water and it’s 250. If I lower it by about a foot and replace with my tap will it help with the hardness ???

Cloudy water is most often times a pre-curser to algae and has nothing to do with the CH level. Are you testing with a proper test kit? Can you provide a full set of water results? That would be step #1. With accurate water testing, we can coach you through anything.
