This will be my first time posting after registering, so be gentle.
My pool is 32 years old, is 10 x 40', inground, originally with a plaster finish which has subsequently been painted.
The problem I need help with is the hairline cracks that are between the coping sections. Is there a clear sealant that can be applied to forestall grinding out the old grout and reapplying? I am not referring to any cracking between the coping and the tiles underneath.

Welcome to tfp. !! :wave::wave:

If they are hairline cracks then pool putty generally works best. It can be messy to apply so pratice somewhere else. You can order from Inyo pools online.

Pictures of your pool and problem area would be great. The stuff between the coping sections is mortar, not grout, if it's seriously failing it should be replaced
