Ground Prep Question

I ran into a really bad stump during ground prep, and had a stump grinding service come out and grind it up for me - there is no way I could have done it myself.

The stump grinder brought the grade down a good 4 inches or so from everywhere else I have already leveled.

My question is this: do I need to bring the rest of the grade down again to meet this new low point from the stump grinder? Or can I fill it in?

I know that the pool must be set up on virgin soil - if I fill in the area that the grinder has brought down, will the pool "settle"?

Pictures attached.

scoop as much loose dirt from the hole as you can then fill the hole back up to level with washed 3/4 inch stone. The stone does not need to be compacted......just level with the surrounding compacted virgin soil.

I don't have a link. Any quarry should have this rock. In North Carolina it is often called #57 granite. It is washed (so there is little dust) average stone size about 3/4". Used as substrate when pouring concrete.
