Greetings, folks. My first post in TFP. I live in Tucson, have a 15K gal pool with a spa attached by a waterfall. Have lived in this home for 18 years and have taken care of my pool on my own. Learned a lot over the years. Of course me first learning curve was algae control under the desert sun. This pool was a white plaster pool put in in 1996. Held up pretty good for 21 years, but was getting a little "worn" looking. Also, part of the spa decking was lifting up due to mesquite roots. And so we decided to completely renovate our pool. Took out the old plaster, fixed the deck, put in new tiles, and have resurfaced with Pebble Fina. And so now, expectedly, I am here, at TFP, to discuss some of the renovation problems. Its great to have such a fine forum for these discussions. I will continue posting, with pictures, later today.
