Hello from southeast British Columbia. We're replacing our 16' round water bladder with an 18' hardside above ground. Very excited!!

New to hardsides, but have had great success with the baggy pool. No algae blooms, keep it heated with a wood boiler, and crystal clear.

We'll heat the new pool as well, plus add an inline chlorinator, and a good deck. Hopping to make a more permanent setup.

Hello from the southeast of Victoria - the one down under.

Welcome to TFP.

Have another think about that inline chlorinator. Trichlor pucks add CYA to a level where it's difficult to keep a pool properly chlorinated following the recommended FC/CYA Levels.

Trichlor is also very acidic, pulling pH and TA constantly down. We have seen many cases where use of Trichlor pucks crashed a pool's pH, dissolving the copper from a heater's heat exchanger. Consequence is a destroyed heater and copper stains in the pool.

Consider a Salt Water Chlorine Generator (SWG) instead. Much better investment.
