I did clean out the PARAMOUNT INFLOOR CLEANER with a garden hose, when I put the water to the ports more dark matter came out, now it is extremely clear with the water running through it strong.

Add 1/2 Gal (I did not measure but according to chart should be FC 8.5- 1 gallon will raise FC by 5.3)

I think it is finished! Thoughts? One last thing CYA is closer to 30 than 40 I may bring it up to slam level one more time tonight using 30 = FC 12. Waste or no foul?

FYI, I keep such records to give all new comers a nice record of how this actually works.

Are the CC’s 0.5ppm or less
You seem to have lost only 0.5ppm FC so you may be good there. But your comment about not measuring has me wondering.

Thanks Barry, I had to leave ASAP after dumping in FC and no time to let it circulate, my plan is today leave as is and tonight bring it up to a slam level with CYA level at 7:00PM let circulate then 7:30PM take new readings and check in the AM before sun comes up.
CC has always measured 0.0ppm and is very clear crystal clear (see pic)

Not sure if this helped or not but initially when I had tons of dead worms and stuff on the bottom I vacuumed right to waste since supposedly algae is too small to be caught in the sand filter.
