Hello everyone
Help! Every pool service since my original guy retired has been a nightmare. I've made more checks out for broken equipment the latest being a new pump and now they say the filters cracked and that's why the pool is green. After reading the yelp reviews I learned the most recent guy was known for taking advantage of elderly and my parents were handling the pool service before I took over. I live in Los Angeles and Temps are rising. What are some ways Or questions that I could say to vet these pool service companies? Thanks 😊

Welcome to TFP! Here at TFP we highly encourage owner-user water testing to take 100% control of the pool. It's not that hard to do and much more reliable. You can place your faith in a weekly service, but they certainly don't share the same concerns you do for clear, sanitized water. They philosophy of "dump & run" is not ideal, not to mention they are expensive.
