Guys. I’m trying to help a friend with his SwG pool. His motor broke and pool turned very green. Here are the test what I know.
36 gallon vinyl liner, sand filter with SWG.
FC was .05
Cc 1.0
TA 50
PH 7
cya Less than 30
tested with a taylor k 2006
Do not know the salt reading Not sure if it matters at this point. He added 14 bags of 40 lb bags salt put check salt light still on.
over last 4 hours I have added 7 gallons or 10% bleach and retested only to get a fC reading of 1.0. My question is do I just keep pounding it with chlorine or Could the salt system be causing issues. I just don’t have a lot of experience with it SWG and want to make sure I’m giving good advice . Thanks
