I am so frustrated!! I followed the directions to a T for closing ... when I peak through the mesh cover I can see a faint green film of green on the bottom. I can still see my main drain clearly at 9 feet but WHY 😫😫 the green film ... I still have a few weeks until I open ....
 
How cold is your water? Is it frozen? When do you open- a set date? Is the chance of freeze over there?
Open as soon as possible and hopefully before water temps get to 60 degrees. It will surely go fast. 🤞

I almost always open by 4/15 as I have a mesh cover .... but why the film on the bottom? Chance of freeze is likely over ..
 
What date did you close and what was your FC level. Did you add anything else besides chlorine at closing?
