Green around skimmer edge

I just went out to perform my weekly testing/maintenance on the pool and when I removed the basket from the skimmer back by the equipment, there was a tiny bit of green around the top lip. It’s been SUPER windy lately. My testing results were as follows:

pH : 8.0 (added some MA)
FC : 4.5
TA : 100
CYA : 70

Pool looks clear except for the dust/dirt on the bottom from all the wind. Robot was also cleaned out and is running. Not sure what to do. I wipes the green and it came off with a paper towel. I also poured about a 1/4 cup of chlorine right onto the edge. My thought is that if it is some sort of algae it will kill it? Pool was replastered 55 days ago if that matters. Advice?

Your FC is bordering on too low. Up the pump hours or the percentage time run on your SWG.

Will do. I’m also hovering around 2950 on my salt, should I add a couple bags and up that to 3300-3400? I am also going to add some liquid chlorine after the sun goes down tonight to get my FC up to 5.

Yes, a bit more salt might help. I don't know how high of salt your SWG requires....check your manual. You don't want to accidentally overdose.

Def don’t want to over do it on the salt. I only had it running at 40% so I’ve bumped it up to 50% bc it’s supposed to be 102 on Saturday.

Did you check the weir door Foam on the back? I found out it had algae, i changed it to a higher density foam and had not a problem since.

I haven’t but I will. This particular “green” was on the basket holder back by the pump. Skimmer out my the pool is A-OK
