Goldline Aqualogic wired to a jacuzzi 2.7 vs

Has anyone wired a gold link to a jacuzzi 2.7 vs? They both have the red black yellow then green wires. My co worker says we only do 2 or 3 wire for these but I’m not sure.

When connecting Hayward automation and pump you connect A, B, and COM. The automation does not need the 12V red power line from the pump.
