goldline Aqualogic ps8 aux switch problem

Had this system for maybe 8 years, had all the regular problems with the pcb and did most of the servicing myself.Now when I switch on the super chlorinator the aux switch 4 turns on also, which turns on lights around pool.I just can't figure out how this can happen.

Any thoughts would be a great help!!

Do you have a AQL-PS-8-V?

It seems like there is a group function that turns on superchlorinate and other functions simultaneously.

Go to configuration and check the aux 4 setup.

Check for a group function setup assigned to an aux button.

Is this something that just started happening for no reason?
 
I don't know why it is happening.

You probably have to go through all configuration settings.

Maybe you can reset the configuration to default and then redo all configuration.
 
So, aux 4 turns on only when you activate superchlorinate but not when you push the aux 4 button?

Has anyone recently altered the programming or touched the wiring?

Do you have a AQL-PS-8-V?
