Was going to have frustratedpoolmom come and watch over my pool for the week but decided to go it a go by myself, as I know she is swamped with work.
First I would like to think her and TFP for all of the help and info. It really has not been that hard to keep pool in check.
On avg I add 1/4 gal 12.5%, some times none, daily.
PH went up (8.2) past 2 days so adding acid to get it down, (First time this has happened)and I think it was due to having the concrete power washed
and over spray getting in the pool
Ran my new dolphin twice on Saturday and will do so again today to make sure its as clean as can be
current readings...
PH 7.9 (added acid this morning to bring down to 7.5)
FC 11.5
CC .5
TA 120
CYA 50
FC is high but I wanted it higher as its suppose to be hot next week.
I have bottles of chlorine set up with the amounts I want added daily by my neighbor.
Adding 1/4 to 1/2 gallon daily depending on predicted temps next week.
Got the pump on a new timer
Any problems with my thinking ?
FC will more than likely be on the high side when I get back, but below slam levels.
Just don't want to return to a green pool.
Neighbor has my number if he sees any green and I have bottles set just encase
They will also be using the pool, so I think keeping FC on the high side will not be a problem
Side question...what is CSI and do I need to worry about it.
Pool math says its low but I do not have any numbers plugged in for it, just whats showing on the app
