Good day everyone. Before I start, I just want to say that last year was my first year with an permanente pool (as I have had Intex pools in the past) and you guys really ROCK! I followed your closing instructions last year and when I pulled back the cover just a few days ago, my water was crystal clear. My wife could not believe her eyes. Thank you!
Let me now explain what I have going on. Today I am finishing filling up the pool and will balance out the chemicals over the next few days. Because I am in CT, it still isn't very warm so I use a solar cover to help warm up the pool water which has helped very much. My question is that when i do go away in June for 2 weeks, what do I do? I was planning on keeping the solar cover on so that the water will continue to warm (water temp currently is 57) and bring the pool up to a shock level and then have my neighbor in the beginning of the second week add in some bleach to raise it again to help stop it from turning green also add like 3 chlorine pucks to the floater. Is this a good idea or is there a better way to address this?
Thank you for your help.
