Globrite to Intellivibe Nano Pentair Lights

My pool has 2, four year old, dead Globrites. I am reluctant to replace with the same light with such bad reliability. Just saw the new Intellivibe lights. Will they fit the old Globrite niche? Or is there a better alternative. I know will need to add the controller to my Intellicenter panel. Also saw some Life-Bulb that claims compatibility and offer an undescripted “lifetime replacement program”. Does Anybody has experience with them.?

Please give me some advice!,

Just trying to get some better quality replacements.

Thanks!

The Nano is too small to replace a Globrite.

The IntelliVibe Micro should fit, with the adapter, into the Globrite niche. Understand that you need to replace all your lights and commit to the IntelliVibe Controller and app control.

Pentair has Gen2 Globrites that are supposed to be improved. Read what the Wiki says.

I have not seen any lumens published for the IntelliVibe lights. However assuming the IntelliVibe Micro is similar to the MicroBrite light then the MicroBrite has 500 lumens versus the Globrites 700 lumens.

The Micro light is likely to be about 25% less light then your GloBrite.

I would consider the Gen2 GloBrite lights unless you want the other IntelliVibe features.

LED technology typically produces 75-110 lumens/watt. The Nano is 2W and the Micro is 12, the Mezzo is 24..

So for the Micro, maybe 800-1200 Lumens, and the Mezzo maybe 1600-2400.

Thanks for your help, all great advice here.
I sent an email to Pentair, but haven't heard back from them. Probably the Intellivibe are even more expensive than the Globrites and will also will need to add the controller.
Definitely will look into the Globrite gen2 and will keep you posted.

Thanks again.

A week later finally received a reply from Pentair. But of course of not much help. Didn’t even indicate there’s a Globrite v2 that I could use. Got more help from the forums that from their rep.

Can anybody recommend a vendor for the new Globrites v2

Thanks again!
