GLB Algimycin 2000 Algaecide

Anyone use the Algimycin 2000 weekly in their pool? I currently do not have algae in my pool and have not had past issue with it but have a few bottle of this on hand. Was wondering if it is worth using to ensure I do not have algae issue. I believe keeping the correct water chemistry should be enough so this would not be needed. Just curious to get other peoples thoughts on this.

No algaecide is needed with TFP methods. The chlorine will just consume it. OK to use at closing for winter, but not needed.

Looks like it’s a weaker version of the stuff in polyquat 60. I used that last fall per recommendations in the pool closing thread. Might be worth saving for that.
