Getting ready to DIY it in Texas

Hello! In the next two weeks my husband and I will be purchasing a DIY vinyl liner in-ground kit to install. It will be our first time owning a pool so I might be around here lots pleading for advice! Playing with the idea of doing a build thread but we'll see what time allows for. Nice to sorta meet you all!

Hey again K !!! Take a stupid amount of pics of the process. They are free and will be stored in the cloud forever. The plumbing pics for example will be awesome down the road when you only remember the pipes are kinda sorta over there. ish. Whether its a leak or adding landscaping or 100 other scenerios, they will come in handy. And for memories.

There is no shame in doing a build thread after the fact when you have more time. It'll still be new to us. Just sayin.

Start a build thread an share with us what you PLAN to do.

I see many threads that start with the problems people are having with their build. It is much better if we can help prevent you from having problems then trying to help you fix problems.

Hmm. Maybe I will! I've posted the specs elsewhere but that's an idea..... We're probably ordering in the next couple weeks. Currently being told it's 3-5 week lead time with the exception of the heater which sounds like it could take more than 3 months.
