Just received my tfpro test kit. Did a full water tests and everything smooth and within expected ranges except the chlorine test. I was at roughly 3 to 4verified by pool store and my old crappy tests last weekend. So over next 3 days I added 3 gallons of liquid chlorine as my CYA is around 65 and wanted to be up around 12ish before starting a SLAM in next couple weeks. But when I test I'm getting 24. 31k pool and link to the chlorine I added. I retested twice and got same results. According to the pool calculator using 10% liquid chlorine should have only raised is 10ish. Not 20. Ideas of what I'm doing wrong?

Correct. But can you trust the baseline test ?

If they were right, then you mathed wrong so please confirm you used a 10 ml sample and each drop was 0.5 FC, or 25ml and each drop was 0.2 FC

10ml so each drop 0.5.
Ok great. There's no need for the finer 0.2 scale of the 25ml sample test. Save 2.5x the supplies and stick with the 10ml / 0.5.

it's is possible that was just higher than I thought before.
There's a reason we require reliable testing before giving chemistry advice. We've seen it literally thousands of times and good advice with bad data is bad advice.
I'll give it a few days and test again.
It might take a while to come down. We still have short days with a low sun angle. Slam level is 28 for you with a 70 CYA (always round up). You're pretty much there and its totally safe to wait it out.
