gap between rockwall and safety cover

Hi, there is a 4 inch gap between my rock wall and safety cover thats allows a ridiculous number of leaves to get into the pool. Was wondering if anyone had suggestions on what I could do to close the gap.. its a meyco pool cover with wall anchors.
I also posted this thread last year about installing a solar cover deck roller for a kidney shaped pool with wall. It has images of our pool. Never found a solution, btw in case anyone has advice there too
