G1-011049F-1 VS G1-015043H-1

My original board went out on my pool. I ordered what I thought was the G1-011049F-1 but received the other. It would not run the pool. Came up communication error and wouldn’t clear. I’m being told by INYOpools.com that there is no difference. Did I do something wrong when I replaced it? Pretty cut and dry as to how to do it. Thanks

What exactly does this mean "Went out"?

Try disconnecting the Remote Display Terminal block.

Inyo knows what they are doing, so I would trust them.

Hayward might be chipping their cells to prevent the use of generic cells.
