From Swamp Green to light green and cloudy

Rained yesterday. FC 12

Added 1 gallon LC and brushed.

Pool clarity improvement is minimal. I can tell but it’s very small.

My sand filter did a great job getting it from swamp green to this…does that mean the sand filter is effective or does it need to be looked at. Sand was replaced 4 years ago (not used last year bc our liner when out).

Thoughts?

Doing its job. Sand lasts for billions of years...if you didn't put gunk in it.

Are you using pool math? Share your logs. home page--gear upper right--scroll to bottom and enable tfp sharing.

Can you test and replace more often?
 
Testing 3-4 times a day isn't moving the needle. Can you test more often?
Please log your test results so we can see them.
Can you enable sharing with TFP? (Settings, then scroll down to advanced settings) Then we can click on your user name and see them.
