Hi - we are a small indoor pool (circa 10,000 US Gallons) in the UK. Since September 2021 we hire out our pool and its gone from infrequent personal use to being used 7 days a week for on average 10 hours a day (maximum size group 8 people). Sometimes our water is fantastic and sometimes its cloudy. Our problem is that when its cloudy its guesswork (and Google research) that guides us how to fix it. Information on line is often conflicting. We are looking for a more consistent, predictable course of action based on the chemical readings as we enter them. It would be useful to have some guidance as to what we need to enter to get the best recommendations on actions to take. Thanks Steve Deleted web address - TFP Mod

Steve, welcome to TFP! Here at TFP, we know that in most cases when water gets cloudy it's an indication of excessive organic growth (algae). Here at TFP we use the SLAM Process to kill and remove algae. To do that you must have a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C to post a full set of test result and maintain the proper "elevated" FC-SLAM level. The SLAM Process link and the link below are great resources to help get you started. Look those over and let us know if you have any questions.

Welcome to TFP :)

Using TFP you can have and learn how to keep your pool sparkling clear at all times.. Do you have to go by regulations for a public pool?
