I currently have freeze protection enabled on my pool and spa, which rotates every 15 minutes (Pentair system). Is there a way to set the RPMs to a lower rate than the default speed I have for my daily schedule? Do I need to setup a new circuit to do this? Before my main board was replaced due to a hardware issue, I used to see a 'Freeze Mode Active' option in my pump list, but I no longer see it.

I'd like to bump the freeze mode RPMs down to 1,800 from the 2,450 my pool is set at. Thanks.

Blue,

You need to set a speed for "freeze" circuit in your list of speeds..

The freeze circuit will show up in the dropdown list.

Keep in mind that when the pump sees two or more speeds, it will always run the faster speed. So if the pump is on and running at 2000 RPM and freeze control kicks in at 1800 RPM, the pump will not slow down, it will continue to run at 2000.

I am personally not a fan of freeze control as I run my pump 24/7.

Thanks,

Jim R.
