Free Chlorine, very low or dangerously high?

So I have test strips and a digital meter and the FC seems to be consistent on each test, around 2.2ppm. This pool has just been filled about 10 days ago, and I noticed I needed to add alot more chlorine to get the numbers up compared to what pool math was showing.

So I bought another test kit and apparently the chlorine is off the charts

Who do I believe?
