Hi! I've been lurking in the threads and I think I want to put down foam under my 24' round intex pool this year. I don't have the pink stuff available. Is this insulated sheathing a good alternative? Hey there! I am also putting foam down this year as well! I'm still learning about this, and I'm pretty sure I purchased the wrong foam board and wayyy to many! At the price, I'm sure hoping that I can return several sheets!
I got the 1/2" silver POLYPRO ESP insulation foam board! If I'm understanding correctly, we want to either be with the blue or pink board that doesn't hold water! You can read through my posts and get some good info from the replies!

What you want to look for is extruded foam panels. The key work it extruded. This is a tighter, more dense foam that is less susceptible to compression and moisture retention.
Color is really irrelevant as home depot has pink and lowes has blue, but both are the extruded variant.
