I've got a buzzing flow motor and a "FLO" error on a spa. I switched out the capacitor with one that I have not been able to test yet, so I can't vouch for it, and I get the same buzzing. I can't take a cap off of either of the other motors because the covers are sealed shut. Obviously it's going to be cheaper to replace caps than the whole motor, so I was wondering if anyone could guide me on how to test the motor to see if it's good.
It spins freely when turned manually from the back with a flathead. I've "tried" (weakly) to kickstart it, but I'm a little hesitant to go too far with that since I'm not 100% sure which direction it should spin (clock or counter).
Any ideas? Its an emerson 1563 motor.
