Hey everyone, wondered if anyone had suggestions for my next steps with my iChlor 30. We opened the pool a couple weeks ago and it looked great. After some vacuuming and bringing the FC level up a little we were crystal clear. Everything seemed to be working great and we had a great weekend of swimming. We didn't get in for a few days, and then a few days later the SWG flow light turned red when it came on in the morning. Later that day it displayed the FLO error code and from the manual it indicated I should replace the flow switch.

That arrived today, I replaced it, and then entered the reset code. The flow light continues to show red, the salt light blinks red and green, and the cell light flickers red.

Flow switch arrows are pointing the correct direction
Flow back to the pool from the returns is good
Baskets are clear
I removed the SWG and checked the blades, and they looked good. Did not see anything in the pipes in either direction
Backwashed the filter again after doing it when we opened.
I have not tried to terminate the wires in the new flow switch again, but thought about trying that tomorrow.

Would anyone have any other suggestions for next steps? Thanks from a frustrated pool owner.

I'm wondering what the salt level is, but it sounds like the chlorinator is not sensing the flow switch closing. Would it work to put a male threaded plug in and test closing the flow switch out where you can see it. Just a thought.

It struck me later... the easiest way to test would be to remove the new flow switch but leave it connected, and put the old flow switch back in just to plug the hole, then physically close the flow switch and see if the lights and messages return to normal.

Thanks again - this led me in the right direction. The new one was not closing even when I had it out. I squeezed the wire connectors again and it started detecting the closed circuit. One of them must have been very slightly loose, enough to not make contact. It's all back together and working properly now. Now to get the water cleaned back up....
